About PDF to JPG
PDF to JPG requires a PDF rendering provider. Pages are rasterized, stored temporarily, and usually delivered as a zip when there is more than one page. The MySQL database only stores job metadata such as status and expiry, never the PDF bytes.

Does this extract embedded photos only?
No. It rasterizes whole pages, including text and layout.
